So I was urged by a friend to join a composing jam this week. There are huge ones and less huge ones, and I did not join a huge one because those don’t happen all the time. This one is weekly, and the theme for the coming week is Beach (and that sounds like an easy lay-up. Not for 1st place mind you, just for a good song because I love making beachy stuff).

Right, this PAST week’s theme was Old Meets New, and I’ve been experimenting around with the sounds of harpsichords with newer instruments a lot recently so it seemed like a good time. So I made a Bach infused canon with harpsichord, then I made a dark synth-pop piece, then I combined them for a half hopeful/half boss fight type beat or something like that.

Personally, I’m decently proud of the first piece, the second is good, the third is ight, and the fourth is a bit of a mess but I still enjoy it. But let me know what you think, I suppose!
